3D Artwork (stereoscopic is not accepted) that was created using a 3D program or Suite* These include but, are not limited to; Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Blender, ZBrush, Modo, CAD...etc.

"Mostly" completed work (use your judgment over 70+% finished);
If your displaying a model to show your modeling, I wouldn't expect you to have it textured, lit...etc.

That being said; Don't submit a picture of a car when there's just a half finished tire.

Artwork that is erotic, depicts sex, sexual acts or is deemed "overtly sexual" in nature will not be allowed.

++Nudity IS allowed as long as it's NOT erotic and strictly for artistic purposes++

The group reserves the right to reject any works that are deemed "erotic" and "overtly sexual".

Works depicting; Drug use, reference or activity are NOT allowed.

Artwork done using game engine(s) are not allowed (Screenshots, mods, in-game characters are not allowed as well) . This violates the first rule and will not be accepted.

Guidelines For Submitting Work

Hey Everyone,

I'm noticing a LOT of works submitted in the wrong categories and wanted to clear things up. I would like to speed up acceptance of submissions, along with making my life easier when going through each submission.

-NEVER SUBMIT TO FEATURED- These are randomly chosen and anything submitted, no matter how well done, will be automatically declined, no if's and's or but's.

-Characters / Characters2- The focal point is your character, usually just a character model with either no background at all or limited background.

-SciFi- For science fiction characters, scenes, spaceships etc. (Star Wars, Star Trek, TRON....etc.)

-Scenes- Are the complete package of character(s) background, a fully realized idea or concept.

-Fantasy- Elves, Fairies, Goblins, Knights, Angels...etc.

-Machina- Robots, Mecha-related, mechanical fighting machines..etc.

-Air Land Sea- self explanatory; planes trains and automobiles... motorcycles and boats too!

-Building / Arch- Interior and exterior design

-WIP / Continuous- Show your work in progress and overall progress on pieces. 'Uncompleted works that are being worked on or updated'

-Prop Asset- Objects, everyday items, guns...etc.

-Abstractions- Fractals, and abstract work

-Landscape- self explanatory...landscapes....

So,

Before you hit that submit or 'contribute to folder' button, double check where your submitting your work to. General rule of thumb, I look at how you submitted your work to DA. You submit a work as "Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Characters / Animals & Creatures" it'll go to the "characters" folder. YOU uploaded it as a character so that's where it goes, pretty simple?

Another example:
"Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Objects / Technology Related" since it's an "object" it belongs in the "Prop Asset" folder.

"Digital Art / Fractal Art / Fractal Manipulations" = Abstractions

"Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Scenes / Futuristic & Sci-Fi" = Sci Fi

"Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Scenes / Fantasy" = Fantasy

I understand there will be some pieces that may cover multiple categories, use your best judgment and if in doubt just ask me!

Hope this helps everyone understand submitting work and it'll speed up getting your work approved!
